Rabbi Yehuda Kelemer has been the Rabbi of Young Israel of West Hempstead since 1983. Prior thereto, Rabbi Kelemer served as the Rabbi of the Kehilla of Montreax, Switzerland, Congregation Sons of Israel of Middle Village, New York and the Young Israel of Brookline, Massachusetts.

Rabbi Kelemer received Smicha from Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem.
